BSAM 2019 is kicking off in St. Louis next month. The Black Speculative Arts Movement rose out of the ashes of Ferguson... for those not familiar with the terms "afrofuturism" or "black speculative art" it is what Disney's Black Panther was based on. One of the godfathers of that movement and founder of BSAM is our very own Dr Reynaldo Anderson. Come experience afrofuturism, a weekend of real life Wakanda: black sci fi, superheros, art, tech, film/documentaries, poets, artists, authors, activists, workshops and more.

The Black Speculative Arts Movement will be touching down worldwide at a venue near you!
